13 of you are missing!

Just another quicky!

As you probably know, GFC is going on the 1st! (Or as least we all think. I am a bit apprehensive but it's better to be on the safe side!)

I have 29 GFC followers and 16 BL followers, which means 13 of you lovely people are missing!

Please just go over to bloglovin' and follow me so we can all stay in touch! It will take 2 seconds!

Some people are saying GFC is staying but some people seem pretty definite that it will be leaving us. I don't really understand why, seems a bit silly to me!

Follow on Bloglovin

Just click that big button ^ and it'll send you to my page, then just click the blue follow button and you're done!

It would really mean a lot as I don't want to leave any of you lovelies behind when (if) GFC bids us goodbye!

Lush interview!

So, I just got home from my group interview at Lush!

I got up at 7 this morning, fretting about the interview. I've been feeling nervous about it ever since I got the email inviting me to the interview!

Me and my friend Patience (patiencebeatrice) were both in the interview so we met up and walked to the bench closest to the Lush store.

We were both super nervous and we sat there for around 15 minutes.

The workers at Lush opened the doors pretty much on time and we all went in. There were 7 of us in total which I was actually quite surprised about. I thought there would be a few more. But they did have a couple more name tags. I guess some people just didn't show up!

There was the trainee manager and a sale assistant running the interview. They introduced themselves, asked if we were familiar with Lush and if we'd been in before. It seemed as if they didn't expect us to know anything about the company at all. They told us a bit about the company, what was expected of us, hours and such. Asked us if we had any questions, what are favourite products were. They were both super friendly and laid back, which I loved.

The interview then began. We were put into 3 groups, two 2's and a 3. Luckily for us, me and Patience were put together. We were told to have a chat between us and find out as much about each other as possible and report back to the interviews. Obviously, me and Patience had an advantage here. I guess this task was to see how comfortable we were around new people and how talkative we were as Lush employees are always so bubbly and confidant! I guess we sort of cheated at this, but they never asked if we knew each other so, we didn't lie!

We were then told to go shopping for our group partner based on what we had learnt about them. We all got a basket and filled it with Lush goodies we thought the other person would like! We were left to wander the shop for about 10 minutes and then we had to stand up show our basket to the other people and explain what we picked and why.

It was then time for a demo!

I was super happy with this bit because they chose a bath bomb demo! There was one bath bomb I studied and memorized and that was Honey Bee.

We were given a couple of minutes to chose our bath bomb and then we were brought around the steel bowls they have.

They asked if any one wanted to go first and I jumped straight in!

I think I did quite well on this bit, I mentioned the baking soda and the citrus acids that soften the water and the ingredients of the bath bomb and what benefits they have and who the product is good for.

All in all, I'm not exactly sure how I did. There were some parts I think I did well in, like the bath bomb demo, but some parts not so good, like the basket. I think I rushed through it and didn't talk about the ingredients much!

I think they were mainly looking for personality in this interview. There wasn't any one to one interviews or any quizzing on our knowledge of the products or the company. Just plain personality tests! I think I did a good job, the sales assistant made direct eye contact with me quite a few times and she saw me having a little sing a long and a little dance to the music in the store so I'm hoping I've won her over a little!

But, there's nothing I can do now!
Just going to have to keep myself busy this week and keep my phone by my side at all times!

Fingers, toes and everything crossed that I get a phone call and a trail shift! I'd really love to work at Lush, everyone there seems to friendly and happy and kjdbvkdsvbhds

Opps, and again | Little clothes haul

Me and my mum went out shopping with the intention of getting me some sandals for our holiday as my two favourite pairs both broke last year in Egypt!
But we ended up getting everything but!

I first picked up a dark purple maxi skirt.

£14.99 - here

I love the colour of this and it fits and flows really nicely. It feels really good quality and it wasn't expensive at all!

I then picked up 4 cute little crop tops to go with it!

£7.99 - here

£7.99 - here

£12.99 - here

Can't find the link but it was £12.99 I think!

Sorry for slightly blurry pictures! The lighting in my room is awful and my camera seemed to be working against me today!

They all go with the purple maxi skirt, believe it or not! And I really love all 4!

We then wandered into Topshop to browse around the sale and I ended up picking a plain grey oversized shirt with rolled up sleeves.

It was reduced from £16 to £8 and I thought it'd be a good thing to have to just shove on in the morning if I can't be bothered to make an effort when I start college!

I was also going to get these in Topshop as I've been wanting a pair of flatforms for ages!
But as I don't like getting my feet out when I'm not on holiday, (I'm not a sandals girl at all. I'd rather walk around in my Doc's all summer!) I thought £35 was a bit expensive for a pair of holiday shoes! They are lovely though!

So, that's me done for a while!
I just need to get some sandals now!

Shopping shopping shopping | Another little haul

Me and my mum decided to open the saving tin we had going for a couple of months. We started saving for clothes for college, so I went shopping.

I went with my sister on Tuesday and I bought a couple of things then.

I bought a cheap foundation brush and two nail polishes.
I've been wanting a bright orange nail varnish for a while and I was going to get one from Barry M, but they didn't have one. Then I came across this one from NYC in the colour 'Spring Street'. It's not exactly bright orange, more of a coral colour. They were having an 2 for £3 offer so I picked up a dark purple in the colour 'Manhattan'. This is more of an autumn/winter colour but I liked it so I bought it!

I then went out to Meadowhall today. Which, if you're not from around Sheffield and don't know what it is, it's just a big shopping centre.

First, my dad bought me some cheap Ray-Ban lookalikes.

I was going to get a real pair of these for my birthday last year, but I didn't really know if they suited me, so I got some Ray-Ban aviators instead, which I love.
But my dad just bought these cheap ones from eBay as he knew I still wanted some like them but didn't want to pay loads of a proper pair!

When I was out today, I first bought a maxi dress from New Look.

Now, I've never owned a maxi dress before as I'm not a dress or skirt person really, but I thought I'd give one a go, as I'm going on holiday in a couple of months!
It's a black bandeau with a cream dress with black pattern on it. This was £23.99 I believe.

I then went to Topshop to have a look around the sale and the make-up, but I ended up going downstairs to Topman.

The Mickey mouse one was reduced from £22 to £12 and the blue one with bleached strips was reduced from £20 to £10.
They both oversized and so comfy and I'm so glad I found them in the sale!

I then went to Boots.

There was a huge buy one get one half price on pretty much everything I looked at!
My sister's birthday is coming up and she said that she wanted a deep conditioner, so I picked up the Damage Rescue Treatment from Pantene for her to try.

I then picked up the Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer in the shade 'Apocaliptic'.
If you know me, you know I hate lipgloss and I'm a huge lipstick girl.
But after seeing Lauren from alavish rave about them, I wanted to pick one up. And this was the perfect opportunity, as I was able to get it for only £3!

So, that's my little haul!

In other news, I have a group interview at Lush on Monday morning! *squeals* I'm super nervous! I hope I do well! If I'm successful, I get a trail shift next weekend! Wish me luck!

How's your week been lovelies, any plans for the weekend?

Passport photo | FOTD

Today, I had to go and sit in the dreadful booth to have the dreadful passport photo taken. I wanted my picture to be decent as I will have to live with it for at least 5 years! (Of course, my photo looks awful).

Face:
Mixture of Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Foundation in shade 1 'Vanilla' and MUA Matte Foundation in the shade 3 'Gentle Fawn'
Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer
Natural Collection pressed powder in 'Neutral'

Eyes
Old copper colour eyeliner (the name rubbed off the packaging :( )
Just a sweep of Berry Ice Estee Lauder eyeshadow
Lancome Hypnose mascara

Smackers
Rimmel London Moisture Renew lipstick in shade 700 'Nude Delight'

I wanted to keep it minimal make up wise as I had a fear that they wouldn't accept the photo if I had too much on (remember when I said I worry about things a lot?)

Y so serious?
Hey ho, you don't really care what your passport picture looks like when you're laying on the sunbed, basking in the sun, do you?

Weekend Wishlist | Mascara

Two posts in one day! But I think I'm going to make a thing of this "weekend wishlist", what do you think? :)

1) Maybelline Falsies Mascara - £7.99
I know that this is a favourite of Tanya Burr's and I just need to get my hands on it! I've seen mixed reviews, I know some people say it clumps. I'll hopefully find out for myself soon!

2) Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara - £10
As I love Soap & Glory's skin care products, I hope I love their make up products also. (let's forget about their Sexy Mother Pucker lipgloss, shall we?) I've seen good reviews on this.

3) No7 Exquisite Curl Mascara - £11
This is a favourite of Zoella's and everything I've tried because of Zoe, I've loved!

4) Benefit They're Real Mascara - £19.50
Do I really have to say anything about this mascara?

5) Lancome Doll Eyes Mascara - £21
By far the best mascara I have ever tried. I desperately want my own tube but it's not budget friendly at all.

What have you been wanting this week?

Sisterly love... Sort of

Today I went to my older sister and asked if she had any lip scrub as my lips were feeling dry and awful and vaseline, carmex, or palmers cocoa butter wasn't helping. She let me have a dabble at her Lush lip scrub (I will definitely be buying some of that) and then, that turned into my acquiring quite a few things...

She ended up looking through her make up bag and just giving me things she didn't want or use anymore, and I'm not complaining!

I know a lot of you will think this is gross because one of these has very clearly been used and you shouldn't share make up. That's true and I agree with you! But this was used by my sister so I'm not really bothered. Plus, it's Estee Lauder so I would have been silly to say no to it!
These are pretty old, so I doubt they'll be around anymore.

She then gave me an eye shadow quad from Avon which has barely been used (they're just really dirty cause they've been in her make up bag for quite a while!). It has a really pretty highlight, peachy pink, light smokey brown and light black in it.

She then gave me a brand new, unopened Colour Trend mascara and kohl eyeliner. Can never have enough of them!

She then gave me some Natural Collection bronzing pearls in the colour "Sahara Sun" and some pressed matte powder in the colour "Neutral" and a Estee Lauder brush.

She then gave me some almost full cocoa skin therapy oil which I'm hoping will work on the scars I have on my chin from spots.
Some Andrew Barton heat protection spray.
And then some MUA matte foundation in the shade 3 "Gentle Fawn" which actually seems to match me!

I also got some nail foils which I now realise I forgot to take a snap of!

Not too bad for some dry lips!

How's your week been lovelies? :)
